Fabhotel The Address

The hotel was hard to find, with no clear approach or signs. There was no TV or hand wash, and the power backup wasn't adequate to keep the lift running. Water wasn't provided, though I didn't ask for it either. Breakfast was included in the room price, but the hotel had no kitchen and ordered it from a restaurant. Even after asking them to arrange it as early as 7:30-8:00 am, it arrived very late at 9:30 AM. Not recommended.

My parents stayed for one night, and the washroom wasn't clean. When they complained, it was just rinsed with water. The TV didn't work and the door latch was broken, but service for fixing them was poor. They asked to change rooms and were offered one on the 4th floor, where the lift wasn't working either.

Reception staff were the one bright spot. They were helpful and answered my questions quickly. The rest of the room was in poor condition: the tap water came out very slowly, and the bed was uncomfortable and low quality. There were three power cuts during my short 5-hour stay, which made it harder to sleep. It was an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel as it is now.

The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building with a pharmacy downstairs and a hospital on the first floor. It's shabby and very dirty, with cockroaches in the rooms. The sofas were dirty too, and we had to ask for the bedsheet to be changed when we arrived. Hooks for hanging clothes came off easily, and opening the almirah meant dealing with cockroaches. Cleaning only happened when we asked. Hot water was unpredictable because the geyser is very small. Sometimes it came from the washbasin, and sometimes pressing the flush brought hot water. They didn't provide the complimentary water, and sometimes even added it to the bill. Breakfast comes from outside and was sometimes forgotten altogether. The hotel is near the railway station, on one side of the Nasik main area, while the actual city is 40 mins away. The nearby food isn't very good. We usually went to Udupi, which is within walking distance. Radhika hotel is nearby, but it's only good during the day; at night people come for drinks, and the food isn't that good either. I would've given it 0 stars, but the price was low, so I gave it 1. Don't book just because it's one of the fab hotels. I wouldn't recommend staying there because it isn't hygienic.
