Hotel Aanandan Residency by OYO Rooms

This hotel wasn’t worth it. The room was very bad, the food tasted unpalatable, and the staff service was poor. The staff spoke rudely, too.

The main issue for me was the AC. At the reception they control the AC in every room, and staff switch it off at night. The receptionist acts like he’s helping with everything, but he’s the one controlling your AC. Leaving that aside, the hotel may suit a trip: the food is very tasty, good quality, and affordable. The service staff who work under the manager’s directions are polite, the hotel is right on the road, and there’s good parking for vehicles. The location is good as well.

The hotel has no lift, the curtains in the room were very dirty, and they didn’t provide any water bottle or RO water in the room. They advertise free laundry on Google Maps, but didn’t provide it. The food quality was good, though the charges were very high. The rates also seemed high for the room. I found out about this place from an auto driver who dropped me there, then argued for more money and tried to fight in front of the hotel staff. The person at reception after 9 AM behaved well, but the night receptionist was very bad in nature. Worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The bathrooms were constantly waterlogged, and we had five power cuts in one night. There was no generator, and the ACs in both rooms they gave us didn’t work, even though they were called AC rooms. The worst experience. If negative stars were possible, I’d give them. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
