Hotel Alaya

The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of choice and tasty food. I loved it and would recommend it. We stayed for two nights. The rooms looked great and were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with supplies, as you'd expect from an upscale hotel. Service was excellent from the front desk through to room service. I'd definitely suggest staying here in dehradun.

Our room had a small balcony, and the bathroom layout was comfortable, with the bath and shower separated. The room itself was spacious, and the property was well kept. Hotel Alaya sits at a junction in a popular, convenient part of Dehradun, so getting around was easy. There’s a dining area and plenty of basement parking, handy if you're driving. The staff were helpful and courteous. Room service took a little longer than expected, though I could overlook that given the rest of the stay. Comfortable place, and I’d recommend it.

My friends came to Dehradun from different parts of the world for my Indian wedding, and Alaya made the stay comfortable and welcoming. Many of them were from Russia and UAE, so India was really new to them. The central location was great, with lots of shopping nearby, and the hotel had the relaxed, good-looking boutique feel I wanted, where it felt like we were the only guests. We held two dinners on the terrace, with beautiful mountain views, and my mehendi ceremony in our suite. It was spacious and cozy. The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the staff were polite and responsive. Rohit deserves a special thank you. He was there day and night, helping us with everything we needed at the property. The staff really won our hearts 💕 Thanks for making the stay so lovely 🩷 :)

The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a baby every night, and I looked forward to every meal. The food was fresh and delicious. The terrace is the standout spot. It feels like the hotel’s social hub, and the Himalayan views are breathtaking. It’s lovely to sit up there with a warm drink and take it all in. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming, and made an effort to help me feel at home. The whole place has a chilled out, beautiful vibe. I’ve just returned and am already checking when I can come back for another break from the grind. Highly recommend!
