Hotel Elara

Mr. Daljit was cooperative, and the hotel has a calm, quiet location, good amenities, reasonable rates, and a nice ambience. We had a wonderful, authentic stay and found it a beautiful property. It’s an experience we’ll always remember. Recommended.

I’m in Room number 304, and there are lots of mosquitos, plus two flies flying around happily. The wall fan is covered in dust. The front office keeps cheerfully asking, “aapki samsya hal hui.” I’ve been chasing one makkhi and finally killed it with the mosquito racket. I want to share photos, but can’t find where to upload them.

The room itself was fine, but the service really wasn’t. There was no warm water, so I had to boil water in the kettle to bathe, and toiletries weren’t provided. They hardly answer calls. It was an okish stay if you only need somewhere for one night before leaving early.

The only good part of the hotel was the very sweet woman at reception. I stayed with my girlfriend, and even the deluxe room was very dirty; its chair was broken too. Then while we were out for dinner, someone from management unlocked our room and threw away my condom. I noticed it was missing when we returned, and later found it had been thrown outside near the steamer. The management is so dirty it crosses all limits.
