Hotel Kailash Plaza

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, and the washrooms were neat and hygienic. Food was fresh and tasty, with good quality and hygiene. From check-in through check-out, the staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. I had a really pleasant stay at Kailash Plaza, Dehradun. Great hospitality, definitely recommended for a visit to Dehradun! 👍

Our paid booking apparently “did not exist” when we arrived at Kailash Plaza at Rajpur Road, even though we had confirmation emails and receipts after booking and paying in full months in advance. They refused to check us in, leaving us stranded, and the staff dismissed our concerns arrogantly instead of helping. They offered no refund there and then and were evasive about processing one later. The way management handled it felt deliberately dishonest and like an attempt to scam us. There was no accountability, no solution, and customer service was basically nonexistent. The rude responses and disregard for guests were appalling. This was a miserable experience, and I’d warn people away from booking unless they want to risk being cheated and left without somewhere to stay. Save your money and peace of mind for a reputable hotel. Rating: 0/5. Would never recommend.

The location is quite central on Rajpur road, and Zomato and Swiggy deliver here. Service was fine overall, with most staff courteous and helpful. We had trouble with the air conditioning on the first night, so we made do, then were moved to another room the next day. Parking could be difficult when there are lots of guests. The guard said the basement parking was flooded, so we had to leave the car on the roadside.
