Kwality toffees, a little treasure and an all-time favorite.
The stick jaws I ordered from them were great.
The Owner let us stay another night at no extra cost when heavy rain made us miss our bus to delhi, which was really kind. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the location worked well for us. It’s a comfortable place to stay on a budget, and we had a very pleasant visit.
Most things were cool, but the rooms are just average. They have curtains, yet no windows 😂😂, and the hand shower in the toilet leaks a little. We switched rooms because the first one had a weird issue: the washroom lash and its hole didn’t line up 😂. That’s about it, so I gave it 4/5.
It’s a very cheap hotel right in the heart of the city, and the location on Rajpura road is a plus. Getting to the rooms means climbing 28 steps to the first floor. Breakfast is brought in from outside. The furniture and other things aren’t really antique, but they do have a nice old look, as you can see in my photos. Still, I’d put it in the two star category. Paint is peeling, the commode seats were broken in two rooms, and the bathroom kept smelling bad, though that may not happen in every room. The bathing stool was very old too.
