The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom had a bad smell coming through the shaft. I had to keep the exhaust fan on all night to avoid it. The window lock was broken, and one room's door lock didn't work, so we had to leave it open all night. They handed over the keys without cleaning the room or checking basic things like towels, water, or the room and bathroom condition. The staff weren't rude, but they were unreceptive. When we raised the problems, they made excuses instead of addressing them, and we had to call several times for basic facilities. They didn't even check the room before check-in. Totally unprofessional service.

The rooms were fine, though the bathroom smelled a little. The location was excellent, 5/5. Service was 5/5 too, especially thanks to the receptionist and the other staff, who were genuinely helpful and valued their customers.

The water was warm and had a foul, bathroom-like smell when we tried to drink it. In the hot weather, we'd brought a jug and asked the staff to refill it. The rooms were very untidy, and the bathrooms smelled awful. On returning from our Mussoorie tour, we booked Hotel Radiance Paradise in Dehradun for June 15-16, 2024, for 3600 INR, supposedly including breakfast and extra bedding for our kids. When we asked for the extra bed that evening, staff said it wasn't included and demanded more money. In the morning, they also wanted extra payment for the kids' breakfast, despite what had been agreed at booking. Breakfast was supposed to have several options, but all we got was tea and paratha. The poor service, unhygienic conditions, and misleading promises made this a painful stay. That water was unacceptable and felt like a health risk. I strongly advise against staying here.

The bedding was dirty and smelled bad, and I've never seen hotel staff this rude and arrogant. They didn't know how to deal with customers and acted like cheap shopkeepers. This was the first hotel I've seen charge for an extra blanket in winter, with no care for elderly people. If you're traveling with family, don't waste your money here. Even a 500rs room and its staff would be far better than Radiance paradise. Hotel management team, train your employees or hire educated professionals who know the hotel business. Or reconsider your policies if this is how they're being told to work.
