Treebo G K Residency Near Dehradun Railway Station

The GK residency was close to the market, and the staff were cooperative and welcoming from the moment we arrived. My family and I enjoyed the food, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice option. We found the stay comfortable and felt it was good value for money.

We waited half an hour at reception to check in because no staff could be found. Later, some male staff accused us of having more than two people without checking first. The rooms were dirty and poorly lit, with no ventilation, and even the corridors were unclean. Bedsheets and pillow covers were torn. A shabby place, and I won't be coming back or urging anyone else to stay.

The main reason we chose this hotel was its location very close to Dehradun railway station. We stayed two nights in February 2025, booking two double rooms and one extra mattress. The rooms were maintained well, though small. At checkout, staff charged us for two plates of vegetable spring rolls we hadn't ordered. In the rush to catch our early morning train, we didn't notice and paid. It was an okay hotel near the station.

We lasted less than an hour before leaving. The rooms and pathways were extremely dirty, and every corner smelled bad. We asked for a refund, but they wouldn't agree. Nothing about the hotel was worth mentioning. Do not visit.
