The staff were polite and honest, and the land lady was capable, efficient, and polite. I paid Rs 1844 for what I think was room 109, after first booking one day through the Make my trip app and then extending by another day. The rate was reasonable. There was one issue: the digital set off box had an expired card, though housekeeping agreed to replace it. The room was very large, with a spacious bathroom and lots of sturdy wooden furniture, including cupboards, a sofa, center table, chests, writing table and chair, and a TV shelf with stands and drawers. With an extra cot and bed, a family of four or five could easily stay in a double deluxe room. My room had a large east-facing glass window onto the road, with thick curtains. I opened them during the day to enjoy the sunlight and warmth. It was neat and clean, including the bathroom and common area, and the WiFi was fast enough for me to watch live news on YouTube on my laptop. Hot water was always available from the geyser, once you switched on the MCB. That was very useful in winter, when the high temperature during my stay was only 19°C. The thick double bed and warm blanket meant I didn't need a room heater. The hotel is about 2 km from Lotus temple, Kalkaji mandir, and Shakthi Peeth, and under a 20-minute drive from Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway station. Deep Sweet, a very good vegetarian restaurant and sweets shop, along with tea shops, grocery and convenience stores, and a Bank of Baroda ATM, are all within a five-minute walk.

The reception lady told me at check-in that none of the AC rooms were available because the AC needed servicing, even though air conditioning was listed when I booked through MMT. The rooms smelled bad and were dirty, so I checked out after 15 minutes. I'd avoid this place if possible. There are nice homestay options in the area at the same price, with much better service.

The place is old and badly maintained, and the locality didn't feel safe. At the entrance it says OYO Rajdeep Palace, with no Fab Hotels branding anywhere, so I questioned whether the reviews were real. It felt more like a cheap lodge than a hotel. The bathroom was filthy, like a train bathroom. I had to change rooms because there was no bathroom water, the AC was broken, and the bed was dirty. In the next room, the bathroom was just as bad, and the commodate was leaking water. We nearly vomited. With no other choice, we somehow stayed the night and left first thing in the morning. Absolutely not recommended. 😡👎

The food had plenty of tasty choices, and getting around from Hotel Rajdeep Palace was convenient. My room was comfortable, clean, and looked after well. Staff were kind and quick to help, which made the stay feel relaxed. I had a really lovely time here and would recommend it to people visiting nearby.

Breakfast had a nice range of good options, and the hotel was close to everything while still feeling quiet. My room was roomy, comfortable, spotless, and had what I needed. Everyone I met was warm and attentive from arrival through checkout. I'd happily come back and recommend staying here.
