Hotel Amax Inn

Mr Puskar singh at reception was very nice and helpful. I stayed here 35 days, and all the staff and the owner were excellent people who cooperated with me throughout. The rooms were very neat and clean. It's a budget hotel with many kinds of rooms at different prices, so you have a choice. I highly recommend it to budget class travellers.

The staff were rude and unprofessional, and I was charged extra simply because I was a tourist. It felt completely unfair. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The way we were treated at Amax Inn, Paharganj was the worst part of our stay. The staff member spoke rudely and showed no interest in helping us, repeatedly telling us to wait because we'd booked online. We had booked through Flipkart/Cleartrip after seeing positive Google reviews. Check-in was listed as 12 PM, but we were told we'd need to pay ₹500 to get a room before then, even though several rooms appeared to be empty. Trusting those reviews and booking ahead made the experience especially frustrating. Management should address staff training and honesty in service. Very disappointing.

The staff were helpful, especially Mr Pushkar Singh at reception. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget hotel in the pahar ganj area.
