Fabhotel Kaushambi

The food was decent, but the tea was some of the worst I've had. Everything else made for a miserable stay. The room was cramped, with seepage on the walls, a poorly kept bathroom, and a general lack of cleanliness and upkeep. Staff were apathetic and unprofessional, too. We booked in a rush because of an appointment elsewhere, and paying in advance before seeing the room was our first mistake. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. Even in an emergency, I'd avoid it. Delay your plans or pay more somewhere else if you need to, unless you're willing to give up comfort, cleanliness, and basic service.

FabHotel customer care put me on hold and cut the call each of the three times I called. They never called back. At the hotel, the receptionist denied the breakfast I'd paid extra for through the official FabHotel website, without giving a proper explanation. The room quality was pathetic, the washroom was dirty and poorly maintained, and it wasn't worth the money. This was the worst hotel stay of my life: no service, responsibility, or respect for customers. A complete waste of time and money. FabHotel should be ashamed of this dishonest, unacceptable service. Please don't book here.

We paid an advance to book through FabHotels, but the hotel later told us it wouldn't honor either the booking or the payment. They said ₹20 lakh of their money was stuck with FabHotels, so they weren't taking its bookings, and asked us to cancel and book directly instead. FabHotels was no help when we sought a refund. We sent email proof and screenshots of our conversation with the hotel, then heard nothing more. The advance is gone, and neither the hotel nor FabHotels has offered support, a refund, or any accountability. This feels like blatant cheating and harassment. I wouldn't recommend FabHotels to anyone. Save your money and stay away from this scam.

The rooms were bad. The bathroom door wouldn't close from outside, the intercom didn't work, and the AC wasn't cooling. There was just one half-litre bottle of water. The geyser was on but not working, so there was no hot water. Breakfast wasn't available until after 9:45.
