I travelled from Dehradun to Delhi with a friend and had booked FabHotel Twamev. My friend, who is 18, was allowed to check in, but I’m 17 and was refused. I understand hotels can have their own age policies, but the staff were harsh, rude, and disrespectful. We tried to discuss it calmly, yet they spoke arrogantly and didn’t explain the situation politely. As far as I understand, there’s no law in India saying a 17-year-old boy can’t travel or stay at a hotel. Minors can travel freely within the country, so this is a hotel policy, not a legal restriction. The staff didn’t explain that properly. Even if they had to refuse check-in, basic courtesy and respect were missing. Hospitality also depends on how guests are treated. A very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you expect professional staff and decent behaviour. In the end, I got no refund and was thrown out.

I booked online through Agoda and checked in around 11:30 pm. It was late, so I had no real option to look elsewhere, and I’d already fallen for the pictures on the Agoda Portal. This place seems meant only for couples wanting privacy for a few hours. Everything you might accept as part of a hotel stay is in poor condition. Families and solo travelers should avoid it.

The photos on the Google website didn’t match the room at all. It was so bad that we left as soon as we stepped inside. The bathroom lock didn’t work either.

They took our payment, then kicked us out of the room over an ID issue, even though we resolved it. Since we booked through Agoda, they cancelled the booking. The hotel gave us no room after taking our money. Avoid this hotel, and Agoda too, since its customer support is terrible.

A waste of money. The hotel was dirty, the washroom was damaged and smelled, and the shower didn’t work. There was no TV in the room, and they didn’t provide a water bottle, towel, or soap. Please, nobody go there.
