Don’t cheat customers. You charged ₹630, saying that was 12% GST on ₹562. But when I booked the room, its price was ₹502.65, excluding ₹60.32, which brings the total to ₹562.97. What did you gain by taking ₹60 extra from the customer? You’ve only damaged your own reputation for those ₹60. Think about your reputation before trying such cheap tricks with customers.

The airport is under a 10-minute drive away late at night, which was handy. But getting there was a mess. We’d prepaid for a taxi at 12:15 a.m., yet no car had been booked when we arrived. After repeated promises to wait five minutes, we asked for a refund so we could take an Uber, which we found was available nearby for less than half the price. Staff gave several explanations, including that the driver wasn’t answering, the person who took our booking had left, and a 30-minute taxi wait was normal. We eventually got a car half an hour later. I heard reception tell the driver to collect extra money at the airport, so I confirmed several times that we wouldn’t pay more. He drove safely and got us to the terminal quickly, though I don’t know if he was paid. This service felt unreliable and possibly like a way to pocket the money. At check-in, they also tried to add taxes, occupancy fees, and an upgrade charge for the room we’d already booked. We had to point out the errors using our Booking.com confirmation. The staff member apologized and we paid the expected amount, but you really need to keep a close eye on the bill. The room wasn’t very clean either. We kept our shoes on and used sweaters as pillowcases because of stains. There was black dirt-like stuff on the sheets. With no window, I couldn’t tell where it came from; maybe the bedding was old or hadn’t been washed properly. I’m not sure why this place gets such high ratings on Booking.com and Hotels.com.

The area wasn’t good, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the bathroom was dark. The bedsheets were dirty too. I booked through Agoda, and they tried to charge extra for taxes. Agoda confirmed by phone that the app price already included everything. I didn’t find the people here reliable.

I checked out early because I couldn’t deal with the water problems any longer. During my three-day stay on November 8, 9, and 10, the taps had no water on two days. On the first day, I let it go because problems happen, and they fixed it within a couple of hours by bringing in water tankers. Still, I had to wait until 10:30 p.m. to bathe on Chandra Grahan day. On the third day, I was out all day and came back in the evening to find the taps dry again. Imagine sitting in a bathroom with no water. I don’t want anyone else to go through the trouble I did, so I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
