Hotel Akash Continental Dx.

The bathroom was so dirty you wouldn’t even want to spit in it, there were no towels, and the AC was filthy. Plugs were hanging out too. When I asked them to check the TV, they said they’d come, but nobody ever did. My hostel was cleaner than this place. I settled on a room for Rs800, then at checkout they added another 10% service charge for food that was already on the bill. The room is worth Rs 300-450 at most.

If you’re on a budget, just find a hostel. The rooms here were dirty AF, and the place is a dump. The AC is the only source of fresh air, but it’s never been cleaned and they keep switching it off to save electricity. I don’t get how this place has even one good review. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I rented a non-AC room and paid through Paytm, Rs 1500 for 12 hours. I stayed three hours longer and paid another 400. The rooms are decent and the price may be negotiable. There’s a small TV, but no geyser in the bathroom. They only provide hot water from 5am-10am. I ate at a dhaba and an inexpensive restaurant because ordering food here is pointless, they bring it from outside anyway. Be careful if you’re new here, there are lots of small thefts, so watch your belongings. They may add 10% when you pay through Paytm, claiming it’s a transaction fee, though the money goes to a private number. I paid 1500 through Paytm to take cash, and they kept (150-10%).

The owner refused to send my luggage up to the room. The taps were broken and the service felt unethical. It’s a disgusting, third class hotel, utterly poor. Even if you get a room for free, don’t stay here. It doesn’t deserve even 0.1 star.
