Hotel Ashiana Palace

Please don’t visit this hotel. The staff behave terribly, and the room is extremely dirty and smelly.

It’s close to New Delhi Railway Station and convenient for shopping and street food. The staff are friendly and quick to help, and it could suit a solo traveler on a budget for a short stay. But I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone looking for comfort and cleanliness. The rooms, bedsheets, and service were terrible and unclean. Insects were crawling all over the rooms, and there were reports of broken locks and unhygienic rooms. It’s not suitable for staying.

The central location makes getting around easy, and there are lots of useful shops nearby, especially for food. They can also book tour plans at a low cost if you ask. Hot water was available, and the manager was nice, though the staff had an attitude. Our room was okay, but the telephone and two of the three cables didn’t work, and the TV wasn’t recharged. One night costs 1200, or 1400 with breakfast.

There’s no geyser in the bathroom, so we had to ask staff for hot water. It took a long time to arrive, and there was very little of it, at a low temperature. The hotel seemed focused only on money and gave no proper response. A very bad experience with both the hotel and staff. I wouldn’t suggest staying here, better to choose another option.
