Hotel Diamond Airport

The listing seems misleading, and I reported it to Agoda and Google, asking for it to be removed. It appeared to be Hotel Diamond Inn, 1.2 km away, not the property advertised. The front desk admitted they use photos from another property, and the listed location was inaccurate. The Agoda and Google photos didn’t match the actual hotel. It may be a budget hotel, but it isn’t as advertised. I believe most of the reviews are fake. They also tried to charge me for breakfast even though my Agoda confirmation clearly included it.

I arrived with my bags and messaged them, only to be told the hotel was half a mile away and that this place didn’t exist. The hotel I was sent to looked nothing like the photos, and check-in was chaotic. I found at least five cockroaches crawling around my room. The bathroom tap water definitely smelled like raw sewage, a first for me on my India trip. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I wouldn’t trust the glowing reviews.

I’ve travelled full time for five months and often for the past 12 years, and this is the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. It was absolutely disgusting. I’ve slept in hostel bunks that were nicer, and I could say more, but please find somewhere else. The laundry came back ironed and folded but still unwashed. The stains were exactly as before, as if they hadn’t used water. In the room, there was no soundproofing: the people next door blasted music and screamed all night. Even after they quieted down, I could hear them cracking their fingers. When we asked for clean bedding, they brought another comforter with even more stains. They couldn’t provide fresh pillowcases because their laundry was closed. We called reception again, and they said we’d called the “wrong number” and hung up. As soon as we entered, the bathroom and toilet seat were soaking wet, with a wet tissue on the sink counter. The bathroom door handle was broken off. The towels were covered in brown stains, and the sheets clearly hadn’t been washed. They smelled of body odour and were stained all over. I had lower expectations because of the price, but nothing prepared me for how filthy the room was.

My night was ruined by broken cupboards and no towels in the room. After I asked, it took two hours for them to bring one, and it was dirty.
