The staff were good and the location was good too. The room was very big, but dusty and poorly maintained. There wasn’t a kettle or any toiletries in the room, and you have to ask for a kettle.

It’s conveniently located near Ram Krishn Metro station and NDLS, which helped. The room floor was wet at check-in, and the pillows were soiled, blackened, and kind of rotten underneath their covers. The bathroom had hair from previous occupant/s and no geyser, a basic necessity in winter. The staff were unfriendly and showed little hospitality. They didn’t offer to help carry luggage to or from the room, though their approach toward foreigners was totally different, a colonial hangover. It was a value for money deal overall, but those things could’ve been better.

I booked one night through another hotel booking website. When I first asked the price for the same room, they quoted 1600 rs, even though I’d booked it for 1000rs. Once I said I already had a booking, he took me to a different room that was unhygienic and dirty. I asked for the vacant room instead, but he refused and started arguing with me in awful language. I never took the room. The receptionist was just a low quality material person.

A decent, average place for the price, not especially cosy but not bad either. It’s budget friendly, and the staff were polite and helpful.
