Hotel Leo Saffron

The room smelled awful, and I even found a condom in it. Service was extremely poor. The only high ratings seem to have come from Oyo people. Otherwise, this is a third-class hotel.

The place is shady and poorly kept, with a broken TV and stains on the bedsheets, floor, and walls. There was no real room service, and whoever was available wasn’t trained. Breakfast was unhygienic and came from a local stall. They gave me a Clinic Plus shampoo sachet and cheap, watery handwash. They also charged extra for glasses and water, which should be basic inclusions. There are countless other problems anyone can imagine. It only makes sense if you book for less than 1000. That’s the only price bracket it fits.

The other staff were warm and very helpful, but a couple of the front desk guys were completely mannerless. The rooms are okay for a couple of days, and everything works. Maybe that’s just West Delhi, I think.

We had to check out after only 10 minutes, around 11 at night, and move to another hotel. I’d gone to Delhi with my parents and cousin for wedding shopping, and we’d booked two rooms. After a full day of shopping, we arrived to find the hotel nothing like the booking: the bill showed balcony rooms, but there were no balconies. The manager was extremely rude and didn’t seem interested in sorting things out. The bottles had been unsealed, the room smelled, the bedsheets hadn’t been changed, the bathroom was dirty, and water was leaking from the AC. Pathetic hotel, rooms, and service.
