Hotel Star Villa

I booked directly after a few friends had stayed here. Getting around was easy, with NLDS station close by and good metro connections. The rooms were clean and well kept for a reasonable price. We also liked the restaurant: the food tasted good, and the portions and quality felt fair for what they charged. We enjoyed our stay.

For about ₹1500 for 24 hours, this felt like good value in the area. I stayed at Hotel Star Villas while in Delhi for the Travis Scott concert. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and New Delhi Railway Station was only a short distance away. A solid budget option.

The clean linens and towels were about the only bright spot in what was a very bad stay. My four-day visit was in November 2025, and from the second day they refused the complimentary packed drinking water, saying I had to buy it, even though my Goibibo booking clearly said it was included. Breakfast and food were very average, with limited options for high prices. The dusty rooms were poorly maintained, and most of the amenities and facilities advertised seemed false. They list it as a four-star property on booking apps, but it felt like no more than a one- or two-star hotel. It's a basic budget place near New Delhi Railway Station, but the approach road is so narrow that cars can't get in, so you have to carry your luggage on foot. Avoid it unless you have no choice but to stay a night or two in Paharganj.

I checked in at 4 PM on 29 October 2025, after booking for a work trip, and left the next morning. At first the staff agreed to everything, but later they called to say checking out after 1 PM would mean extra charges. Changing the terms like that felt unprofessional and unacceptable. Management seemed confused, with poor communication toward guests. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for honest, professional, respectful service. There are better nearby options with clearer terms and more polite staff.
