I wouldn't bring children or family here. I paid for my stay but still moved elsewhere for the next night, paying for another room. The people running the place seemed kind and were trying to make the stay better, but the hotel and its surroundings worked against them. The hotel is fairly central and near the train station, but the street was filthy, messy, smelly, and didn't feel safe. There's a public urinal right in the middle of the alley leading to the hotel, so you can imagine the rest. The building and rooms are very old and dated, and the TripAdvisor and Google photos are misleading. Our room was very dirty and needed major repairs. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the linens had holes and stains, and turning on the sink somehow made water drip onto the floor. The AC didn't work at all. To shower, we had to move a bucket and stand practically on top of the toilet. There wasn't any toilet paper either. It was noisy until late at night, and a glass window above the door had no curtain, so bright hallway light came in. I think you get the picture. There are a few other hotels in the neighborhood that might be better, or you could choose a completely different area.

I booked after seeing the ratings, and for the price it was okay. The room itself was good, but the bathroom smelled and the hot water wasn't very hot. When I asked to change rooms, they told me all the rooms were like that. The hotel is tucked inside a street, and the location wasn't good. The environment didn't feel suitable for families, so I'd say it's more suited to bachelor boys and wouldn't recommend it for families.

Durgesh made check-in quick and easy, brought extra amenities when we asked, and shared helpful local tips. He was professional, welcoming, and made us feel at home. Vaibhav Tripathi also stood out for his leadership and professionalism. He checked that guests were happy and made sure service in the dining areas was top-notch, which made our meals especially enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, a quiet place to rest after travel, and housekeeping paid close attention to detail. The modern facilities were well maintained. From arrival through checkout, everything felt smooth, comfortable, and personal. We had a delightful stay at Hotel Karlo Kastle and would gladly return. The location and amenities were good, and the caring staff were a big part of the experience.

A decent choice for frequent travellers. The rooms are neat and clean, and the staff behave well. There is a lift to reach the upper floors, but no restaurant or wheelchair access.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the hotel itself was neat too. Staff were polite, especially pradeep, whose gentle nature was really good. I want to give him 5*. From Athar Ishtiaq Advocate Moradabad
