After I arrived, there was no hotel matching the OYO listing at the address. A different hotel was nearby, and when I eventually went to Hotel Yellow Chilli, the manager said there was no OYO booking and asked for ₹1200 extra for a room. I’d already paid an extra pre-booking charge, and the app price differed from what I paid. I spent around ₹1500 in total, which felt completely unfair. I’d tried calling the owner many times after booking, but got no answer. I waited almost an hour without a response or any support. I ended up having no other option but to go to Hotel Yellow Chilli. The room was terrible even after all that: it smelled, the towels were dirty, and cleanliness was very poor. It was totally unhygienic. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. They’re scammers. I strongly recommend never booking this hotel or trusting its OYO listing. Never, ever go there. Such a horrible experience 😭😭

The staff were rude, offered no help, and wouldn’t support a cancellation. The room problems were just as bad: dirty, smelly, with bed bugs and cockroaches. The bathroom had poor water flow, the AC didn’t work, and the locks were broken. Breakfast was unhygienic too, with cockroaches around. Worst hotel experience of my life. Don’t waste your money here!

The food was excellent and amazing for such low prices. I ordered matar aloo with chapatis and complimentary salad, all excellent, and the tea was excellent too. Later, the veg chow mein and tea were very tasty, and the French fries and tea I ordered in the evening were great as well. The bathroom and washroom were in good condition, but the room itself wasn’t satisfactory for the price. The bed, blanket, and bedsheet seemed unclean, and I could feel dust on my hands after touching them. No slippers were provided even though I asked twice, and the light was dim. I visited in Nov-25. I’d give 5+ stars for food and service, 3 for the room condition, and 3.5 for the location, which is a little far from both Delhi and New Delhi railway stations. If you visit, ask for a clean bedsheet and blanket.
