OYO 9269 Hotel The Cameron

I had a lot of fun at the hotel and liked its atmosphere. I was treated with a lot of respect, the service was very good, and the workers were good and well behaved.

The TV worked fine, with some HD channels. Everything else was a mess: the room and washroom weren't clean, the toilet seat was broken, and the bed was very dirty. The bedsheets and towels smelled awful. There was no complimentary water, just a bottle of regular water that was too hot to drink. The manager said there was no other room available because one had already been allotted in the system. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic.

The room itself was nice and clean, with good hygiene, though the Bank Room is on the ground floor and the other rooms start from the first. Couples, including unmarried couples, are allowed, but it costs nearly 2,000. Parking is the snag: you have to leave the car on the service road in front, though that was okay.

It’s easy to find, the food is okay, and the amenities are all there, but the place needs maintenance. I think you could get a much better deal for the same price on Oyo or Trivago. The receptionist was on a call for over 20 minutes while a customer waited, and even then didn’t know how to treat them.
