Redstone Hotel

The staff were unpleasant and rude, and the cleaners didn't seem to know basic standards of cleanliness and order. We also felt misled about payment, cleaning, and arranging a taxi to the airport. The hotel was in such poor shape that I think it should cost three times less and have a 1-2 rating. It doesn't match its Google Maps or Booking rating at all. Maybe it was in better condition when it first opened years ago, but no one seems to maintain it now, and the photos look old. I was very disappointed, upset, and angry.

The room's cleanliness and comfort fell below expectations, and checkout came with an unexplained extra Rs 500 despite my booking through OYO. When I raised both issues at reception, the staff were rude, especially the girl working as receptionist. I expect clear charges and fair service, and that wasn't my experience. I hope management reviews the amount charged and addresses the reception staff's behavior so future guests are treated more hospitably.

I paid very little for a stay of just a couple of hours, and the hotel felt average but safe. It's about 5 KMS from terminal 2 at Delhi airport, right by the road, and my room had a balcony. The local boys on staff were helpful. The room and corridor were clean, with soap and shampoo provided, though the bedsheets and towels looked unclean. The cable TV kept cutting on and off, but I didn't bother complaining during such a short visit. I ordered burji, which was mostly onion with little egg, and the plain naan was really rubbery.

What a ridiculous experience. We booked online, then got charged double when checking in because the price had changed. The rooms were tiny and not clean. Food was expensive too, but what they served was street-side food, not restaurant style. The chicken biriyani cost 380rs. Just look at the picture. Very bad.
