The Charlie's hostel

I stayed for two days, so the problems were manageable for a short visit, but I'm sharing this for the owner and future travellers. I was fine, and I appreciate being allowed to leave my bags outside the bed while I waited for my train. The cleaner and toilet attendant do excellent work every day, and the manager was kind and spoke smoothly. But I paid for the services listed on Agoda, and good intentions or a humanitarian gesture don't make up for the results. The WiFi didn't work at all, and the AC needs to be repaired or replaced. There was plastic sheeting over the window near it, perhaps because it was leaking, though the unit itself needs attention either way. The rooftop sitting area was dusty and unswept while we used it. The manager cleaned it only when the owner wanted to relax there with acquaintances on a weekend, even though they both knew we were already sitting on the roof. There was no RO filter, although a hot water kettle was available.
