The location puts you close to shopping, restaurants, and public transport, and the staff are professional and friendly. Meenu and Naziya were fantastic at breakfast, always smiling and giving great service. At check-in, we were upgraded to the Presidential suite, which was fabulous. After we’d settled in, though, the front desk called to tell us the AC wasn’t working. How do you upgrade a guest without knowing that a service in the hotel isn’t working? We’ve travelled to 118 countries and never stayed in accommodation where the room had no window. There were no windows in ours, and the bathroom fan ran all night with no switch to turn it off.

The rooms are comfortable, with nice bedding and showers that have good pressure. The hotel is very near the White Lotus temple, and close to a main road, so you’ll hear honking, though that’s expected in India. Service was great, especially at breakfast. Meenu and Muan were very kind, happily handled requests with a smile, and gave exceptional service. There’s a good selection of breakfast food. I’d recommend staying here.

The breakfast was already running short when we arrived at 9:45, though service was meant to continue until 10:30. Most dishes hadn't been replenished, the pav was rock hard, the poha was cold, and the boiled corn tasted off. There was idli but no sambar left. It felt as if breakfast had ended early. Getting into the room was a long process too. We called ahead about an early check-in, but were told twice that check-in was at 2 PM, with no offer to help. Following our driver's suggestion, we had lunch nearby and came back at about 2:30. We then waited another half hour, only to find our room still uncleaned and not ready. We were moved from a Junior Suite to an Empress Suite, which I appreciated, but it didn't make up for the delay. The suite was roomy, almost like a 1BHK, but awkward to use. The living room TV is too far from the sofa and doesn't work properly, although the bedroom TV gets a signal. There's no phone in the hall, so calls to the room can't be heard from the living area. The room felt closed in, with no proper window or view. Service and food were also disappointing. We asked for slippers and never got them. The doorbell didn't work, so staff knocked and left while we were watching TV and couldn't hear. The aloo kulcha came without a proper accompaniment, the dal khichdi had no curd or raita, and we had to put the masala papad together ourselves because it was served separately. The small entrance only fits one vehicle at a time and has little room to maneuver. Trains passing on the nearby metro line could be heard throughout the day, making it hard to relax. The upgrade was a nice gesture, but the unready room, service problems, maintenance issues, and food left us disappointed.

Mr. Imran at reception made a real difference. He was polite and professional, handled check-in smoothly, and helped with our questions. The rest of the staff were courteous and ready to assist too. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well kept, with comfortable bedding and the amenities we needed. Housekeeping kept it neat during our stay. Hotel Meriton felt welcoming and comfortable, and I'd gladly stay here again.

17-01-2026: Checking out today, and I’d happily come back. Ajay at the front desk made sure things went right for us, while Imran, the duty manager, did everything he could to keep us comfortable. Shahida and Ravi from housekeeping were very sweet and helpful. At the restaurant, Nazia and the other staff served things quickly and greeted us with smiles. I strongly recommend this hotel for its warm people and lovely service. I’m sure others who stay here will feel the same. Kudos to the team, keep it up. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 08-01-2026: I checked in yesterday with my husband, who had undergone major brain surgery a few days earlier. This is my second day here, and I think it’s one of the best hotels in Delhi. The rooms are excellent, but the service has stood out most. Ajay at the front desk took care of the details and made our arrival smooth. His pleasant manner is magnetic. Imran, the duty manager, dealt with every concern right away. Kamlesh ji, Shahida, and Kunal from housekeeping were excellent at their work. I’m looking forward to the rest of our stay.
