Karwaan Hostel

I had a pleasant stay. The market was within walking distance, so the limited access to public transport wasn't much of a problem. Staff were polite and helpful, and there was a rooftop cafe with food available on demand. I stayed in a four-bed dorm. The room and bed were clean, each bed had its own privacy curtain and charging point, and the AC worked properly. The washroom was clean and had essential toiletries. Since it was a hostel rather than a hotel, towels weren't provided.

The food was tasty, but there's no room service and the canteen shuts around 22:30. Both the premium and deluxe rooms were good, though neither had a good view or mirror. I'd suggest booking online. We called reception instead, and the receptionist quoted more than the online rate. When we then tried to book online, the receptionist had closed online booking after our conversation, so we ended up paying more. That was a negative experience. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

There's a lively common area that works well for hanging out or getting work done, and the crowd was decent for meeting people. The property has well-kept luxury dorms and private rooms, plus a cafe and mess serving decent food through the day. They organize trips around the city, and Tammy (Employee/Manager) took me on a beautiful ride. It suited a solo trip, a group or a family, and I had a good stay. Would recommend.

Tammy was so friendly and helpful, with great tips on places nearby, and her charming manner made our one-night stay even more memorable. The rooms were well maintained, and we liked the terrace and common area. The crowd was good too. It's very budget friendly for anyone looking at a longer stay. Thanks, Tammy, for the experience. 🤗🤗
