Vijay sir was so kind and helpful, and I loved his hospitality. He accommodated us and helped in every way he could. The hostel rooms were also impressively clean. I had an amazing stay here. If you need a place near new delhi with connections across the city, stay here!!!

On my first day in India I nearly checked in here, but they had no storage room. Since I'd just arrived without a sim Card, I asked to use the wifi for a bit so I could figure out where to go. After about 10 minutes, the receptionist told me to leave, saying it wasn't a public place. I'm glad I didn't stay. That first interaction was a shock, though I'm glad not everyone in India is like that. People elsewhere might be more welcoming and willing to help, whether or not you're staying there. To me, helping someone in need is just basic humanity and understanding.

The Paharganj location is busy, of course, but I never felt unsafe. It's a 10 minute walk to new delhi metro / station. My private room was good value, clean enough, with a decent shower and little street noise. It was pretty calm inside.

Raj was a huge help when I realized I'd forgotten to book a train to Agra and most seats were sold out. He got me sorted and shared tips for my trip down south, including warnings about common local scams. The private room had a comfy bed, the price was fair, and the location was good. I'd stay again.
