Hotel Radiation

The caretakers were very good, but it’s hard to justify the price. There’s no elevator, which seems especially inconvenient in a pilgrimage town where many guests are elderly. Despite repeatedly sharing our group details, we were first given three-bed rooms on the third floor. Some rooms had no curtains, and towels weren’t provided for a couple of days. Wi-Fi password also wasn’t offered automatically, so you have to ask the owner. I avoided using it anyway. Food needs to be ordered four or five hours ahead. I’d also avoid hiring a car through the hotel. We got a Scorpio from Jasidih Station to the hotel late at night for 500, while the hotel’s CNG Ertiga for the return to the same station cost us more, plus parking, even though we had it booked for the other days. Be a yes-man if you want to stay here peacefully.

We paid 500 INR over the phone to book a room. When we arrived, the owner first said there were no rooms, explaining that his drunk son had booked one without telling management and had done so in a very inappropriate way. Then he said rooms were available. The room we checked was in very bad condition, and we saw other empty rooms with their doors open. The place seemed shady, so we left without getting our money back.

The location is nice, near the mandir, and the staff were so helpful, almost like family. I came from Gujrat and found a luxury room for a very good price. One of the best hotels in Baidhnath Dham Deoghar.

The staff seemed familiar and welcoming with customers, and Baba Mandir is nearby. The accommodation was good, and it was nice staying here.
