Mandav Hills Resort

It was easy to reach the hotel and get to nearby tourist spots, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were polite and cooperative, and breakfast was decent. It was complimentary as part of the package, which we appreciated. Basic conveniences were a problem, though. There was a power cut with no backup, water stopped for a while, and there was no hot water in the morning. We had to keep asking for help instead of staff handling things proactively. Disposable cups and milk weren't available at first, so staff had to go to the market for them. The hotel also doesn't serve lunch or dinner, which limits meal options for people staying there.

We arrived late at night, and manager Ankit Mishra was very supportive and made sure we were comfortable. The room was clean, and the AC, TV and geyser all worked. It was a really good stay.

The outside of the property looks good, but inside we found a leaking toilet, rooms without locks and broken switches. The manager was absolutely pathetic and took no responsibility for customer service. At booking they offered restaurant service and tea and coffee, but none of that was available. The hand wash and shampoo bottles in the bathroom were empty and had to be topped up on request. The kettle didn't work, and there was no tea or coffee in the room. We had to argue or order from outside. The junior staff were the only ones who cared and would run to help when asked.

The rooms were spacious, but cleanliness was really bad and the washroom was worse. Reception staff were unpleasant and insisted on checking the booking payment amount. From the outside it looks colourful, but inside the maintenance is awful. There was also a lot of noise at night when people came around. Not worth the price at all.
