The library at Adventure Inn is well stocked, and the hosts know a lot about trekking in the area. They can arrange treks nearby too. It's tucked away from the centre of Bagsu, so it feels like good value. The hosts are warm and caring. There’s also a professional massage centre right across from Adventure Inn, a nice way to unwind after walking in the Dhauladhar ranges.

Getting around from Adventure Inn was easy. The main Bhagsu Nag area, with taxis and autos, is about a five-minute walk, and Upper Bhagsu Nag is roughly ten minutes away on foot. I preferred Upper Bhagsu Nag for its views and atmosphere, but this area was peaceful too. The road comes almost right up to the mansion, so carrying extra luggage doesn't mean dealing with stairs or rough alpine paths. The room and bathroom were very clean, with fresh sheets, washed blankets, and a clean towel that I could replace after a few days. Nothing smelled odd, and I found no stains on the bedding or pillows. I arrived feeling good about the place, which hasn't always been my experience at similar hotels. As a foreign traveller used to high hotel standards, I especially recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The hotel apparently ends about 600 metres before the location shown, making it hard to find. Once there, we were told to carry our own luggage to the room, even though I had a one-year-old on my lap, and no one offered help. We booked two rooms for four people and a child, but were asked to pay extra for the same room type we had reserved, even though MakeMyTrip showed only one type. One room had no TV; the other had a TV but no remote. For five people over two days, we got two towels and two small soaps. There was no room service or cleaning, and the bathroom smelled bad. At checkout they added 125 for two bottles of water. I also doubt the earlier positive comments were genuine.

The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful, while still giving guests privacy and room to themselves. I also used the washing machine. Hot water worked well, and the boiler had enough capacity for a long, comfortable shower. I was there in mid-November when it was already quite cold, so they gave me a second blanket, which made the nights cosy. Bhagsu Nag and Dharamkot seemed much nicer to me than Naddi or McLeod Ganj: calmer, greener, and more charming. If you choose Bhagsu Nag, Adventure Inn is the place I'd pick. It's peaceful and very clean. Before booking, I visited several nearby hotels in a similar price range to compare them. After nearly two weeks here, I felt the stay was well worth it. The room and bathroom were spotless, the sheets were fresh, and the blankets had been washed. I could get a clean towel and change it after a few days. There were no strange smells or stains on the bedding or pillows. I arrived and felt genuinely comfortable, something I don't often find in hotels at a similar price. Adventure Inn deserves credit for the care they put into it, especially for foreign travellers like me who expect high hotel standards. Upper Bhagsu Nag had the views and atmosphere I personally liked more, but this lower area was quiet too. Upper Bhagsu Nag is about a ten-minute walk, and the main Bhagsu Nag area with taxis and autos is around five minutes away. The road runs almost to the mansion, so getting there with luggage is easy, without stairs or difficult mountain terrain.

Really nice place to hang out around Bhagsu. The receptionist was friendly, shared lots of recommendations, and offered to store our bags after checkout. I also ordered something from Amazon and it arrived. Just ask him for the details 🙏
