The manager was kind and offered me an upgrade, and the staff were very helpful. Even the better room was noisy from the road below, though, and closing the windows left it short of air. Corridor light also came in. Construction scaffolding blocked the mountain views, and there was a dead rat smell near the lobby. My first room was dirty and poorly maintained, with stains and hair on the sheets, so I had to ask staff to clean it again. I shortened my stay because of the noise.

The food was very good, and the room and bathroom were clean. We stayed one night, and the staff were very good. Room and food prices were decent too. You have to pay the full amount when booking. The attached picture shows the view from the room.

The drive there was beautiful, with mountain scenery and small villages. I visited in January 2023 after being in Kashmir and then travelling to McLeodganj. The hotel had pleasant rooms with lovely views, plus a nice terrace for spending time outdoors. The owner and staff were very good, and nearby locations were great too. I hope to visit again soon.
