Khushi Residence by OYO

The Chicken RaRa was wonderful, and the food was the one bright spot for me. My stay was otherwise disappointing. Room one had medium-sized and baby cockroaches everywhere. After I complained, I was moved to another room, but it had the same problem, like a cockroach park. The third room was free of cockroaches but full of mosquitoes, and I somehow got through the night. Frequent travelers probably won't enjoy the place as it is now. With serious attention to hygiene and pest control, though, its location and food could make it a good place to stay.

Parking was spacious and easy to use, but the rest of my stay was below average. There was no geyser or central hot water, just a coil to heat water in a bucket. The lift wasn't working, and the rooms are on the third floor. The bathroom wasn't clean either. I'd avoid this property.

The room was small, but the bathroom was neat and had hot water. There was plenty of parking and breakfast was good. Mosquitoes were still a problem even with the window mesh, so mosquito repellent in the room would help.

The staff were friendly, quick to respond, and very good. The location is convenient, though not quiet, and the walls were neat. Towels were clean too. But the mattresses seemed worn out, the pillow covers smelled of body odor, and the floor, especially in the bathroom, could have been cleaned and maintained better. Staff tried but couldn't figure out how to switch off the entry light, which stayed on. The passage between rooms is so narrow you can hear music from the opposite room. TV might suit fans of Hindi news and serials, but there are no HD channels or Hollywood movie channels on the Airtel Dish TV subscription.
