Hotel Surf Ride

Please check into this carefully before booking or visiting, and read the reviews. We had a very bad experience, mainly because the staff and manager were extremely rude and unprofessional. I've stayed in many hotels and never encountered behavior this poor. They keep deleting negative reviews, but I'll keep posting mine no matter how many times it gets removed. People deserve to know, and I sincerely ask everyone to avoid this hotel. 😡😡

Our stay was lovely, and the staff were helpful and very good in their manner. At check-in, Mr. Prasanta Mondal greeted us warmly at reception and made the process smooth. The swimming pool was clear and well maintained. Mr. Dinesh Bhunia, the restaurant manager, was also very helpful and kind. I enjoyed the visit and would love to come back.

Before I paid, the staff were polite and made several promises. After the payment went through, their attitude changed completely. They became rude and unprofessional, and the commitments they'd made weren't properly fulfilled. There was very little basic courtesy or customer service. It felt as if they cared only until they had the payment, then stopped caring about guests. The stay was unpleasant, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. If you're planning a trip to Digha, I'd strongly suggest looking for a better option.

At Hotel Surf Ride, the manager seemed polite and helpful before we paid. As soon as payment was done, the behavior changed. The staff, especially the manager, became rude and arrogant, then started asking for extra charges for things already included in our bill. When we tried to clear it up, the manager spoke disrespectfully instead of handling it professionally, with no basic courtesy toward guests. It felt like a complete scam, with good behavior only until payment and no professionalism afterward. The manager clearly doesn't know how to communicate with customers or handle hospitality properly. I strongly wouldn't recommend staying here. There are many better options in Digha that value their guests.
