We stopped at Hotel 7 Eleven in Dirang for a late lunch, not an overnight stay. Local shopkeepers recommended the restaurant, and it turned out to be clean and comfortable enough for a simple meal. The place isn't fancy, but the chowmein and chilli chicken were above average in both taste and portion size. Service was fairly quick, which helped since we were short on time. It's a decent choice for a quick, satisfying lunch if you don't expect too much. We were too hungry and forgot to take pictures.

Being right in Dirang Bazar was really convenient. The rooms were spacious, neat, and had almost all the amenities. Room service was very good, and they didn't miss a chance to serve us better. A very nice place to stay, and the best experience.

The room itself was decent and the bathroom was clean, but one room had a balcony facing a drain with a bad smell. When we arrived at 4 PM, well after the 12 PM check-in time, the rooms still weren't ready and no one was at reception. Several noisy groups were around, and the hotel was in a pathetic state, with liquor and waste thrown everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it to families. The attached restaurant was poor too, with few options and apparently unable to make even a simple dal. The breakfast included in our package was very bad.

For lunch or dinner, this is one of the best options around. It's one of the few places in Dirang where you can get lunch at any time, and they make the best Naga pork in the area. Since the people running it are Nagas, the food is authentically Naga.

Many locals seem to make this a popular food spot. We stopped for lunch during our time in Dirang and ordered the veg thali, which was fresh, but we didn't enjoy the taste. It also took longer than usual to arrive. The place seems suited to local food and flavours.
