We showed our marriage certificate, but the hotel manager still questioned whether we were married because I wasn't wearing sindoor. We came as a married couple and were abused. They charged more than the MakeMyTrip rate, saying there was no point giving us a room at that price when they could earn more by renting to unmarried, underage young couples.

The pictures on Goibibo don't match the hotel's photos at all. It feels more like a guest house than a hotel, and the Goibibo listing has the wrong images.

They said they'd take offline bookings but wouldn't accept online ones. My wife's marital status was judged, and we were abused with bad intentions. Women aren't respected here at all. Very bad hotel.

It's good, though it really needs a lift. Food service is also badly needed.

The rooms were good, the location was great, and the local staff were helpful. At Rs 1800 a night, it seems okay. But be careful with booking changes: after paying in advance, I got no refund when I tried to modify my booking. Customer care just told me to contact booking.com, and it took half an hour to reach someone there. When booking.com tried calling the fabhotel, nobody answered. I later found out there was never any flexibility on date changes, despite what the site says. I wouldn't pay more than a day's stay in advance.
