Room 206 had a very bad, peculiar smell, and the staff never fixed it despite repeated requests. Restaurant service was poor too. There seemed to be too few staff, and one of the available waiters complained that we should place all our orders at once because they couldn’t keep bringing things repeatedly. We had booked three Deluxe rooms, but on arrival found that only one was Deluxe and the other two were plain Superior rooms. The clerk at the check-in counter insisted we pay the full amount before handing over the keys. When we pointed out the room-type mismatch, we got vague answers and were offered a move to the fourth floor as a temporary fix. My previous stay in Jan 2021 was much better. I will not recommend this hotel to any traveller.

The one good thing was the sea view and the quick 10 minute walk along the shore to the main temple. We booked four rooms and were put on the first floor. Calling this a 3 star hotel is overselling it. Renovation is underway, and the fresh paint gives a better impression than the rooms themselves. Inside, they were dusty and dim, with badly maintained bathrooms, spiders and dust on the walls and windows. The ACs were loud.

I barely slept because machinery was making loud noise all night. On top of that, guests in the next room played videos through their phone speakers at 11 at night, which was really annoying. The hotel is in a very good location, the food at coriander restaurant was really good, and the staff were polite and helpful. Bedsheets, pillow covers and towels were clean, and they provided an iron box when I asked. The walls and ceiling need a thorough clean and a fresh coat of paint.

The Dwarkadhish Temple is within walking distance, which was very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well maintained with the basic amenities provided. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay.

Some rooms face the sea, and the location is quiet with a lovely sea view. The rooms are new and well furnished, and there’s a good restaurant. The temple is within walking distance.
