Abad Atrium

The calm surroundings and thoughtful hospitality at Abad Whispering Palms in Kumarakom, Green Forest in Thekkady, and Atrium in Kochi helped make our Serene ESCAPES travel retreat in Kerala a lovely experience. Our group felt welcome throughout, and the staff made sure everyone was comfortable and that coordination went smoothly. Each property had its own character, while all were clean and peaceful with excellent service. They offered the kind of setting we hope to create for our travelers. We’d recommend them for retreats, group stays, and mindful travel, and hope to return with future Serene ESCAPES experiences.

The breakfast was a highlight, with a tasty range from South Indian favorites to continental choices. Staff were warm and helpful, and the shared areas were generally clean. The central M.G. Road spot made it easy for our family to reach shops, restaurants, and major sights during our two days at Abad Atrium Hotel in Kochi. Our deluxe room felt cramped for a family, and the limited space made it hard to move around. The room was big enough for a couple, but dated fittings and furnishings mean it needs renovation and modernization. The exterior pavements also need attention, as several tiles were damaged or uneven, affecting appearance and guest safety. Despite these areas for improvement, it was a pleasant, comfortable base for exploring Kochi, and we hope the room interiors are updated before our next visit.

The convenient MG Road location made it easy to get to commercial areas, shopping, metro connections, and other transport, so Abad Atrium worked well for my business trip in Kochi in December 2025. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable for resting and working after meetings. Housekeeping was good, and the bed and essential amenities were in order. Breakfast had a satisfying mix for Indian and continental tastes, and the food was well prepared and served promptly. Reception made check-in smooth, and the staff stayed friendly, professional, and warm throughout. I found it good value for money, and it’s featured in Groowynd packages.

The room was comfortable, though it could use an update, especially the electrical charging setup since many sockets were loose. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The location was good, and the stay was comfortable overall, with good food options. We ate at the sister hotel five minutes away because it had different opening times and menu choices.
