We paid 2800 for a triple room, which was way too much for what we got. We chose the place only because it's near the station. When we asked about a buffet, they said yes, but at breakfast the next day they wanted another 170 per person. It felt like a scam. The room's cleanliness and the service weren't worth the price. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, so I'd look elsewhere unless you have money to burn and don't care about those things.

The AC didn't cool at all from the moment I checked in. The room stayed hot and stuffy, and I couldn't sleep despite reporting it to the front desk. They didn't offer a quick fix, another room, or even a fan. Basic comfort was missing.

During my three nights in room no. 111 at South Regency, I found the place very clean, including the bathroom. The hot water was good, the taps were in good condition without leaks, and the fire prevention system was well maintained. The surrounding plants also gave a positive feeling. I appreciated the management and the whole South Regency team, and would stay there again if I visit Kochi. One issue: when we opened the door, there were lots of coachares in the room. Vigorous pest control is needed until they are all gone. As a former Health. Safety and Environment Manager in India and Gulf countries, I try to help society improve and grow.

There was some noise from upstairs at night that disturbed me, and the AC cooling could've been stronger, though it was fine for two people. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom were clean and in good shape. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I had a good stay and would recommend it.

The location is great, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the one letdown, it wasn't up to the mark.
