The Grand Mid Way by OYO Rooms

The location is convenient, about 1km from S T Bus depot pathikashram, and the view from the spacious rooms is great. The hotel sits on the 10th floor of cinemax suman pvr cinema hall in sector 11 of gandhinagar, so it was quiet. Sanitation wasn't fully maintained, and I'd choose somewhere else to eat. Still, it was a good place to stay in Gandhinagar, and I recommend it for accommodation.

From the 10th floor of suman city building, you get a beautiful view of Gandhinagar, and the ventilation was good. The rooms are huge, with very soft beds, and the washrooms were clean with hot and cold water. There is television and wifi, plus cinemax on the ground floor, a good theater and entertainment option. It's a big hotel and one of the best places to stay on a good budget.

The one real positive was the spacious room, but privacy was a problem. The building is shabby, especially at the entrance, and it doesn't feel like a hotel. The staff were just okay. Breakfast was a single item, and we had to wait for it to be served; they didn't seem to care about customers. It's hard to call it a restaurant when they don't serve lunch or dinner there. I booked three days and had mentioned while booking that my morning flight meant I might arrive early. I reached before check-in at 10 a.m. and asked for an hour's accommodation, but the reception wouldn't help even after I requested it. They charged extra for that hour, then assigned me the same room for the next three days, which I had already booked. The hotel looked empty and the rooms seemed ready, yet they still wouldn't accommodate me. Never book this hotel.

A dead rat in the room was the last straw, so we left and went to Fortune in Haveli instead. We tried checking in at 7 in the morning, and the staff seemed barely awake, struggling to register us while brushing their teeth. Dust covered the place, and the furniture looked badly chipped. The room was below average. This hotel needs serious remodeling.
