The Leela Gandhinagar

Trying to use the membership benefits was very difficult. Room availability was rarely confirmed, and after a long wait, even the swimming pool was unavailable. There weren't proper facilities we could access, so there was little to justify the stay. Staff gave conflicting answers to the same questions, and the membership terms weren't clearly explained when I enrolled. Later, the conditions seemed hidden or changed. My stay at The Leela Gandhinagar fell short of what I'd expect from a luxury brand and felt like a waste of money. Five other people bought membership after me, but I wouldn't recommend it or renew. I hope management reviews the transparency and service problems seriously.

Sneha took great care of me at breakfast and made sure I was well fed. Thanks so much, Sneha, you're a real asset to the Leela. The AC was the downside: I entered a room at 24.5oc, and it wouldn't go below 20. It took a while to cool, eventually reaching a maximum low of 21oc.

Yatra had received my full advance payment for the stay well before I arrived, but at check-in The Leela Gandhinagar said the portal hadn't passed it on. I showed clear proof and was still repeatedly told to sort it out myself. A guest who has paid through an authorized travel portal shouldn't be caught between the hotel and its booking partner over internal settlement. Coordination is their responsibility, not mine. This was extremely disappointing and caused needless inconvenience, disrupting what should have been a smooth stay at a premium property. I expect The Leela Gandhinagar and Yatra to improve their processes so guests don't face this again. I'm very dissatisfied with how the matter was handled.
