Denzong Regency has a welcoming, peaceful feel, and the location is convenient. I stayed there for two nights and found the room clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. I really appreciated the warm service and the care they took with guests’ comfort. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok. 😊

The gym needs serious attention. Most machines didn’t work or only operated at the most basic level, and they seemed like they could be dangerous. Even so, our five-night, four-day stay was lovely. The spa had limited options, but the massage was great and professionally done. The hotel is in a beautiful location, and the staff were friendly and professional. We did have a few rough nights because noisy Indian tourists were partying in the room above us at 2 am.

We stayed in a club room, and the people were warm and humble, especially the restaurant staff. The food and drinks were great, and breakfast had a nice spread. MG Marg is walkable in about 15 minutes along a clean walkway. There’s also a casino, worth trying at least once, with a play area where you can leave the kids while you enjoy it. The hotel’s location gives you beautiful scenery. We visited in September, though, and it was so foggy that we couldn’t see Kanchenjunga from the room balcony.

Breakfast had a nice range of choices, and the room we stayed in was just as impressive as the staff. It isn't very close to MG Road, though taxis are easy to find, so getting around was manageable. The gym needs better equipment, especially a safer dumbbell rack, since someone could get pinched. Still, the place is great, and I'd go for it without hesitation.

The views are lovely, and the service was great. I liked the kids' zone, though it was disappointing that men weren't allowed in. The breakfast selection was good, but the tea and coffee didn't meet what I'd expect from a five-star hotel.
