The view from The Star Continental & Spa, Gangtok was mesmerizing, and every morning felt magical. Vishnu’s cheerful smile and words, “Aunty, Didi dekh lo kitna sunder view dikhta hai window se,” captured the staff’s warmth perfectly. The food was delicious, like homemade meals, and the service was top-notch. Prashanti wasn’t feeling well, but she still treated us like family, with the care a daughter gives her own family. Vishnu and Prashanti’s kindness and dedication were remarkable. Ranjit was also cooperative and helpful, and even came along to show us the MG Market. The whole team deserves heartfelt thanks. Highly recommended for families visiting Gangtok.

Sahil Khan was very good, with room service, restaurant service, and friendly conversation with everyone. He’s a very good boy, and I’ll miss him when I go home. The food was nice too. Thank you very much for making it.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a relaxing feel. The hotel also has an elegant, welcoming atmosphere, and guest comfort really stands out. Staff were courteous, professional, and ready to help, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. It was a wonderful, pleasant stay at The Star Continental & Spa, with excellent service. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable visit and good service.

The room was dirty, the bed sheets weren’t clean, and there was visible fungus on the curtains. Hygiene and maintenance were badly lacking, so the stay was very uncomfortable. The room condition was far below acceptable standards, and the website photos didn’t reflect what the property was actually like. Service was very poor, and the receptionist was rude and unprofessional throughout my visit. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable stay. Management needs to address these issues urgently and make sure the online information accurately represents the property.

The rooms were larger than I expected, clean, and nicely decorated. From Gangtok, we saw the magnificent Kanchenjunga view for the first time. The staff’s behaviour exceeded our expectations, and the stay was pleasant and very decent. I strongly recommend this hotel.
