Parking is available, which matters in Gangtok where finding a space can be difficult. The bathroom and geysers were good, and the staff were friendly. Still, in my room I found a damaged bed. I asked for a different blanket because the one I had smelled, but the staff member refused, saying none were available. Other rooms may be better, but this rating reflects my room and the service I received.

The terrace and its little Buddhist temple are probably the hotel's best features, with a nice view across Gangtok. The food was affordable, clean, and healthy, and they helped arrange local trips. Rooms with an outside view are available, but I think they felt about 3-4 degrees colder than the inside rooms without a view, so choose accordingly.

As a solo traveller, this was the most affordable option I found on agoda. For the price, I got a clean room and toilet with a geyser, whereas in these places that would usually mean a dorm. The staff were very friendly, and the food was good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place in Gangtok. It's outside the city centre. From MG Marg, you can take a shared taxi at the Old children's park taxi stand for 50 rupees, and it will drop you at the hotel. A private taxi costs a lot more. Ask the hotel staff for details.

The hosts worked hard and made us feel welcome, even without a grand reception. They were friendly and helped us plan our trips and book a ride. The bhaiya there was especially understanding and helpful. If we come back to sikkim, we'll stay with them again. Thank you.
