I stayed twice during my Sikkim visit, after booking through a travel agent a week beforehand. The first time was comfortable: clean rooms on the same floor and everything worked well. On our second stay, the rooms they gave us couldn't fit everyone, so we asked for another. The room we were finally allotted was on a different floor and wasn't as clean as the others. We also saw a rat run across it at night, and there were no staff around to help us get another room.

The room was quite large and spacious, and I had a good stay overall. The hotel is on the main road, with shops and ATMs nearby, so getting around is easy. Getting to MG Marg means climbing some steep stairs, though. The food was only so-so, not that good, but there was plenty for the price.

I booked three rooms 13 days before check-in, but they weren't on the same floor. I stayed in other rooms besides room 1 or 2 in March 2022, and those rooms weren't suitable. On each floor, the other rooms, for example 201, 202, 301, 302, and so on, are not suitable either. The blankets weren't clean, though the geyser worked. The hotel's location is good.

The staff are good, but room service could be quicker. It's a good budget hotel just a four to five minute walk from M G MARG. There's no lift, and climbing up to the 3rd, 4th, or 5th floor is a tedious job. Check the floor of your room before booking.

The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is nice, and it's dirt cheap. It's beautifully located just below mall. Mr. Ganesh helps out with little things, and the proprietor can arrange most of your outside needs.
