The river trek was nice, and our guide Dhiran was good. Staff were friendly, and the location a little way outside the main city gave us a peaceful break. The room views were amazing. Still, I didn't expect such a bad experience with club Mahindra. The sheets and towels had lots of stains, and the food was very average. The buffet cost the same as at other club Mahindra places but had far fewer choices. There were no toiletries or loafers, both such basic things for a decent stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and quickly arranged transport when we needed it. The food was good, though service was a bit slow. The place was decent but far from the city, and unlike most other club Mahindra hotels or resorts, there weren't timely entertainment or engagement activities.

The building's Tibetan touches and its bright, vibrant colors were beautiful. Staff were incredibly helpful with our luggage, and room service was quick and neat. Facilities were excellent, and the food, including local delicacies, was delicious. Our two days at Demazong were fantastic, and everyone was kind and helpful. We missed the activities in the happy hub because we didn't have time, though they looked fun. The dining area could use more seating, since there were many guests when we visited, and the bathroom should be bigger. Aside from those points, our stay was absolutely wonderful.

The food really stuck with me, especially the thupka soup, French toast, uppama, and sel roti from the live kitchen. They welcomed our family with warm herbal tea, and the room had a perfect view when we woke up. There are lots of cuisine options throughout the day, plus a gaming room and a sit-out where you can enjoy the rain. It’s about 8 km from mg market, so a bit distant.

We liked being away from the city in the small town of Chongay, Sikkim, and the view from our well-kept room was excellent. We stayed with family through Club Mahindra at the beginning of May 2024 and had a really enjoyable time. The resort seemed to have fewer staff than other Club Mahindra places, and restaurant service could take a while. Still, everyone was polite and very nice, and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy.
