Hotel Durvankur

Food and drinks at Hotel Durvankur reflected local flavors, and hygiene seemed carefully attended to. The staff were courteous, professional, and ready to help, and we felt that safety and security were a real priority for management. Our stay in Ganpatipule started smoothly with an exceptionally easy check-in. The rooms and facilities exceeded our expectations, with plenty of space, good cleanliness, and high standards of upkeep. I'd recommend Hotel Durvankur to families and travelers looking for comfort, good food, and attentive service.

My son and I arrived today, 02/ 11/ 2025, at 8.15 PM, and checked in through MMT. Less than two hours in, this has been a terrible experience. The reception staff aren't courteous and act as if they're doing us a favor. The room is very dull and the bathroom is pathetic. There is no WiFi, and they don't provide toiletries. Instead, they told us there's a shop outside where we should buy them. MMT said twin beds were available, and we booked on that basis. We also phoned to confirm before booking, and they said we'd get a twin bed room. At reception, however, we were told there are no twin rooms. They're big liars. The towels had lipstick marks and were unhygienic. Even after changing them twice, they were still dirty. Housekeeping said, "yahan Aisa hi milta hai," as if changing them were some great favor. Very, very strongly not recommended. I'll add more about the experience after we check out tomorrow.

This is a review of their restaurant. The special thali is generous, homestyle, and well priced, and the service was efficient. They also had several Marathi sweet dishes to choose from. I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay and would happily come back or recommend the place. The location was just right, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were very friendly. Service was top-notch, and the receptionist was cooperative.
