Hotel Emporio

The rooms were in good condition and hygienic. The property staff were professional and helpful, and Manager Nisha Ma'am handled everything personally. She communicated well and managed every situation nicely.

The receptionist assured me over the phone that I could check in early, then denied it as soon as I arrived. She kept me waiting for over 30 minutes before asking for more money, saying only a “super deluxe” room was available. She had already tried to push me to book directly, even though my confirmed reservation was through Agoda, and insisted on extra charges for early check-in, which most hotels handle smoothly. I found her rude, unprofessional, and felt she was trying to take advantage of guests. This seemed manipulative and unethical. I strongly ask the hotel management or chain to act on this behavior, because one staff member like this can damage the hotel's whole reputation. Extremely disappointing.

There was barely any space left around the bed because the rooms were so small. The bedroom was dirty, and the washroom was even worse. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The staff were kind and helpful, but the room, bathroom, and breakfast were really bad and need a lot of improvement. I'm editing my review because they ask guests to post one in front of them, so people may leave positive reviews under pressure. The staff themselves were fine.
