Laguna Anjuna

For the price I paid, this was personally a 5/5. It’s an old, rustic place with nature all around, not a modern resort, so choose it if you want calm rather than a modern vibe. There’s no pool currently, looks like it was demolished. The rooms are huge, Portuguese retro style, with naturally built bathtubs, and lush greenery everywhere. Breakfast was great, and the service and attendants were helpful and quick. We spotted peacocks and played with puppies. The beach is a five minute bike ride away or a 20 minute walk. A real underrated gem.

I stayed at Laguna Anjuna for more than 15 days, and never felt like changing my booking or looking elsewhere. The service and hospitality were consistently excellent, and the stay was quiet and very comfortable. I enjoyed it enough to extend my vacation. It had a nostalgic feel, with spacious, beautifully designed rooms and a lovely ambience, including wild peacocks roaming freely around the property. Look for Subhash, he can take care of all your needs. Such a sweet chap 😊👍

The Christmas holidays at Laguna Anjuna were memorable, and we'd love to come back. The resort is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery, with an old Portuguese design and all the amenities needed. We enjoyed seeing its two black-and-white cats and two lovely peacocks. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff, especially Subhash Dada, were courteous, homely and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, we had a very pleasant stay.

We had booked 9 rooms for 21 people, all with different expectations and demands, and the place managed to meet them with its charm, tranquility, hospitality and positive vibes. The service always came with a smile. It felt like a quaint village, with spacious rooms in an old-time Portugese style, kept very clean and well maintained. The location was good too, with a leisurely 10-15 minute walk to Anjuna beach.
