Natwar and Nirmal made the stay memorable with their attentive, warm help and the way they looked after guests each day. The restaurant food was exceptional, and the grand, characterful rooms were clean and comfortable. Gogunda Palace is a beautifully kept 16th-century property where historic Rajasthani palace atmosphere comes with modern luxury. I’d highly recommend it.

The team is the reason this place stands out. From Natwal to the groundskeepers, everyone showed a level of warmth, kindness, and genuine care we haven’t encountered elsewhere. We’re deeply grateful for how they welcomed us and made us feel like family. Thank you to everyone at Gogunda Palace, and wishing you all continued blessings and success. At night the lights make the palace feel like a fairytale, and the rooms, grounds, and pool area are all kept beautifully. The palace itself is breathtaking. We’ve traveled widely and know that places can fall short of their promises, but this one went beyond every expectation. The food was wonderful too, and as South Africans we found it remarkably affordable, which made an already unforgettable stay even better.

The food was exceptional, especially with a special mention to the chef, and thanks to natwal ji and the management team for everything. The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and cleanliness was right on point. I loved the royal atmosphere, made even more meaningful by the place’s association with the historic raj tilak of Maharana Pratap. Everything was maintained to perfection, and the luxurious stay felt majestic and unforgettable. Truly the best in every aspect, highly recommended!

The village is quiet, with not much around, so the on-site restaurant and bar are useful and good. It made a relaxing pause in our holiday after busy Udaipur, which is only 50min away, as is the airport. We really enjoyed the family stay in this fantastic palace setting. The pool is very nice, the property is well maintained, and every room is amazing, unique, and carefully restored. The staff are kind and welcoming, and no request seemed too big.

There isn’t much to do in the small town, though the hotel offers pottery, biking, and massages. We found the stay super peaceful and relaxing in this beautiful 500 year old palace. Natwal made us feel welcome and told us about the history of the place. The palace felt like a fairytale, with very clean, individual rooms. We also got a nice tour of several rooms, each of them really cool. The food was delicious and the service welcoming and great.
