Fluorescence Hotel & Restaurant

The food situation was ridiculous for a place charging 7500/ night. Even if you arrived at 9 am, they might tell you breakfast was limited and that guests who had lunch before you finished it all. The room heating only runs from 6 pm evening to 12 am night, then you’re left with a small room heater. Staff could also be rude when asked for something necessary. For the price, this hotel is very average, and these are the reasons I wouldn’t stay again.

Breakfast and dinner were satisfying, with delicious freshly prepared local and traditional dishes, and there was a good variety. Fluorescence Hotel is a peaceful place for families, couples, or solo travelers, with snow-covered mountains and greenery all around. The location is convenient for popular attractions and scenic walks. Our clean, spacious rooms felt cozy after a day out, and the simple interiors made them comfortable. The staff were welcoming, polite, and helpful. We had a pleasant stay and found it good value, with hospitality and comfort that make it a nice choice in Gulmarg.

The hotel took good care of us, and the food was tasty and mouthwatering. We had a peaceful, joyful time here, with lovely views of the natural scenery. Special thanks to Mr Zafar, who made us feel comfortable.

The receptionist was the worst I’ve ever encountered: rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, with no basic customer service skills. That set a bad tone for the whole visit. The rest of the staff were unhelpful too, and their lackluster response made an already frustrating situation worse. Most of all, the room was not properly cleaned or inspected before I arrived. The sheets were in terrible shape, with mess and hair left by previous guests. For what they charge, the standards are incredibly low. This place is overrated, unhygienic, and not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it.
